Yummy Cake!!This past weekend we celebrated Sydney's 1st birthday. It is quite amazing that he is already one. We had a really great time. A big BBQ was planned at Waneka Park. There were many friends that came to celebrate with us. Sydney seemed to be as cool and calm as he usually is and had a great time. His only moment of uncertainty was when the whole group sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He made it through, but with an interesting look on his face (check out the video below).
We are having a good time. I am off for the summer which is really nice being home with Sydney. And, every day that Jr has off we get some quality time to be together as a family. Sydney and I will be headed out to Houston next week for a few days. Then we will come back as I have my first mini-TRI the last weekend of the month. We then will head to Arkansas for a little while, and Jr will come and meet us. Looking forward to our trips.
Sydney is really trying to walk. He loves walking with assistance and will stand in place thinking about taking a few steps.
